The leg of our (less than a year old) TV had a manufacturer defect and caused my TV to fall resulting in damage that cannot be fixed for less than the cost of a brand new TV. LG decided to give me dozens of promises to replace this TV if the technician confirms the damage and the cause. The Technician having done exactly that, didn’t end with the following through of that promise given by LG. The warranty covers manufacturer defect and damage caused by said instance, however they would rather deny me(the little guy) than hold up their end of our legal agreement. I will be persuing legal action, in the event 2001 Audio Video(the company I purchased the unit from) cannot convince LG to replace the TV.
2 months of chasing LG, being lied to and having a stranger in my home to investigate and confirming my claim they denied me the coverage I paid for.
Ipso facto, do the research on COMPANY POLICY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE RECORD(s) before purchasing. The TV performance is not the only obstacle in the way of a long term investment on these types of products.
